ElliottBullmarket Absolut White Dragon - Felix

Oh boy. Felix is everything wonderful and horrible about boy dogs, all wrapped up in one bundle. Smart, sassy, opinionated, stubborn, loveable, and horny. He's earned the nickname "King Humpsalot", for reasons which I don't think we need to go into on a page rated for family viewing. His best friend is Geordie, our Oriental short hair cat, whom he regards as a combination chew toy and bed warmer. If Felix is in his crate, Geordie does everything in his power to climb in there with him before we shut the door.

Felix is a walking example of why French Bulldogs are sometimes regarded as a 'head breed'. His big, beautiful bowling ball head, with a sweet expression and beautiful gaze, is the first thing you notice about him, but if you can look beyond that you'll notice his fantastic, true gait and hard muscled body. He normally weighs in at a lean and well muscled 22 pounds -- we're pretty sure about half of that is his head! I have a hard time getting him to bulk up to the typical 'chubby' physique prized in the show ring - he's got a runner's type build, probably due to the fact that he never stops moving. I don't think I've ever seen him sleep for more than 15 minutes at a time, before he's up and investigating again... He can also jump up to five feet into the air from a standing position, as can his sister Diva. You have to see it to believe it.

Felix has gone to live with Pam and Larry Mayes of Alabama Pug Rescue, where he's slowly but surely getting used to life with a houseful of pugs (and one other rather confused Frenchie). We know that there couldn't possibly be a better place for him to spend his retirement years. Oh, and if you're ever looking for a special needs pug to add to your home, why not check them out? They do great work!
