Support French Bulldog Last Chance Rescue

This fabulous piece of artwork is the new logo for Last Chance French Bulldog Rescue.

It was done by Wylie Elise Beckert, who generously donated her time and skill.

French Bulldog Last Chance Rescue

The logo represents these lines from the sonnet “New Colossus”, the words of which are engraved on the base of the statue of Liberty:

“Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Last Chance French Bulldog Rescue provides help for French Bulldogs who have been turned down by other rescues. They are the ‘wretched refuse’ of the popularity boom which has led to fun things like this blog, and sad things like the need for a rescue group to support OTHER rescue groups.

This October, Last Chance Rescue will be holding its online auction – our main fund raising event for the year. We need your help – specifically, we need your STUFF. All kinds of stuff – and not just Frenchie or even pet specific.

We need art work and tattoo designs and furniture and antiques and gift cards and restaurant meals. Limo rides and maid service and dog beds and baby bonnets and craft works.

It can be regional stuff – we’ll make sure the winners either live in your city and can get there. It can be tangible goods. We don’t care – we just need STUFF! If we can auction it, we need it. You don’t even have to send it to us – just send us a description and some really good photos, and then we’ll get you to send it to the winner.

Please help us. We’re a small group, but the need for our help grows every day. Help us to be able to keep our promise, that “Every French Bulldog deserves a last chance at a forever home”.
